Your 'Personal' Team Dashboard

Immediately after signing up, you'll be added to your 'personal' team. This is your private workspace within LangFlair, designed to let you explore and utilize our platform's features on your own or in collaboration with others. Initially, you'll notice your 'personal' team dashboard in an empty state. This is intentional, serving as a clean slate for your projects.

To get started, the dashboard provides intuitive guidance on key actions needed to complete your personal team setup. These steps are crafted to help you familiarize yourself with LangFlair’s capabilities and to begin your journey into LLM experimentation and prompt optimization without delay.

Collaborating on Organizational Projects

For projects that require collaboration with colleagues or stakeholders, LangFlair enables you to create a dedicated team separate from your 'personal' team. This facilitates organized collaboration on any organizational project.

Creating a New Team:

  1. Access the Side Drawer Menu: Look for the menu icon on the top left corner of your LangFlair dashboard. Clicking this icon will reveal the side drawer menu.

  2. Select 'Create New Team': Within the side drawer menu, you'll find an option to 'Create New Team.' Select this to begin setting up your organizational team workspace.

  3. Invite Members: Once your team is created, you can easily invite members by entering their email addresses. They will receive an invitation to join your team, allowing for seamless collaboration within the LangFlair platform.

Creating a team allows for focused collaboration, making it easier to manage roles, permissions, and projects in a way that aligns with your organizational structure and goals.

Once team is created, there are two key action items for you to perform:

Next Steps After Team Creation

After successfully creating your team in LangFlair, you're ready to take two crucial actions to unlock the full potential of our platform for your project:

1. Create LangFlair API Key

Generate LangFlair API Keys: These keys are essential for accessing LangFlair's APIs from your application's code. With an API key, you can seamlessly integrate LangFlair's capabilities into your projects, enhancing them with our powerful LLM features.

2. Connect LLMs

Link Your Large Language Models (LLMs): Connect the LLMs you're using by adding their respective keys in LangFlair. Whether you're working with OpenAI, Google Gemini, Mistral AI, or Anthropic Claude, linking your LLM accounts is a straightforward process in LangFlair.

Security and Privacy Note: Your security is paramount to us. We never store your LLM keys in plain text. Instead, we encrypt them before storing them in our database to ensure maximum security. For your peace of mind, we also mask your keys in our interface, so they remain confidential even when you access your account settings.

Switching Between Personal and Organizational Teams

LangFlair makes it effortless for you to switch between your personal and organizational teams, ensuring you can manage multiple projects with ease. This functionality is conveniently accessible directly from the platform's header.

Here’s how to toggle between teams:

  1. Locate the Team Selector: In the header of the LangFlair dashboard, you'll find a team selector dropdown. This is your gateway to swiftly moving between your different team environments.

  2. Select Your Team: Click on the team selector to expand the dropdown menu, then simply choose the team you wish to switch to. The selection will instantly update your dashboard to reflect the chosen team's projects and settings.

By utilizing this feature, you can maintain a clear distinction between your individual projects and those you collaborate on, ensuring both personal and team productivity.
